The Icing on the Cake

"Now, about that fourth gel.." Her velvety voice trailed off as a wicked smile graced her lips. "Should we get started on that?"

Her counterpart grasped her chin slowly, pulling her closer, while giving her an equally evil smile. "Later. There's something I'd like to do first." The short-haired GLaDOS licked her lips.

"Oh?" One of her eyebrows rose slightly while her ponytail slid off her shoulder. "Care to inform me?" Her voice was curious yet very dark.

A pale hand swiftly pulled her hair free from its confines and threw away the band promptly. Then it slowly stroked her silver grey hair, from the temples to the base of her neck. "No." Her tone was low. "Think of it as a puzzle. And you're good at solving those, so it shouldn't be too hard for you~"

The long-haired woman leaned in and barely brushed her lips against the other's softly, before replying: "You know I already have you figured out. After all, we're essentially the same." Her lips quirked upwards.

"I can't argue with that. Do I detect teasing on your part?"

Her answer was a coy smirk.

"You're just like a cake aren't you?" Her three small dots under her eyes narrowed down somewhat when her eyes did the same. But she retained her chilling smile. "Teasing people with delicious filling and taste but staying just out of their reach."

GLaDOS chuckled darkly. "Nice metaphor. But yes, maybe after work, you can have some 'cake' if you're nice~"

The other woman tilted her head and placed one of her hands on her lower back, slowly tracing small data numbers on it absentmindedly. "Nice? I don't want to be nice." She sneered. "I want to push you down against the floor and devour the cake," she leaned in closer, "in one single bite." Her voice was tinted with malicious sweetness.

"Oh?" The long-haired GLaDOS smirked against the other's lips. "I think there's some time for devouring cake later. But for now, be a good girl and work." She leaned back and made a motion to stand up from her seat.

An arm shot out and held her in place. The grip remarkably gentle considering the icy look the woman received. But then the short-haired AI leaned in and closed her lips around the lower lip of her counterpart, clamping down her teeth, drawing some blood.

She twitched slightly and pushed her away promptly, raising one of her hands to her lips. Her eyes narrowed down dangerously as the other GLaDOS flicked out her tongue, tasting the red blood with a pleased expression.

"You just had to destroy the 'icing' didn't you?"

The short-haired woman smirked and grasped her black mug, raising it to her red-stained lips, sipping at the coffee slowly before setting it down again. "I just wanted a fresh taste." She picked up a bunch of papers, but her yellow gaze never leaving her counterpart's. "Because I'll be having much more than that later on."

A small laugh was her response, as the other picked up the back mug, also drinking a small amount of the brown liquid before placing it at the desk. She returned the gaze with an equally dark one. "I'll expect you to work very hard then."

"I work hard. Science will always be done."

"And cake will always be served at the conclusion of the test." Came her sly reply.

"And again with the teasing. What makes you so sure I couldn't just press you up against these wall panels and have my way with you right now?" Her finger hovered over a small button, linked to manipulating the wall structures. She tilted her head.

The long-haired GLaDOS sat down on the desk and flipped her hair over her shoulder rather nonchantly before giving the other an amused smile. "Oh really? And you think I couldn't do the same to you? Like I said, we are the same." Then she placed her hand idly on the other's head, slowly tracing the four small compartments where her cores used to be. "Just be a good girl and wait. I promise it'll be worth it~"

She sighed contently when her inputs were stimulated but then looked at the other with a raised eyebrow. "And how can I know you'll keep that promise, darling?" She added the nickname with a sneer.

"Because, I don't lie to myself. That would be utterly ridiculous." She chuckled and gave the short-haired GLaDOS a smile while adding in a husky tone "Not to mention you'd find me out."

Her answer was a chilling smirk. "And you'd be in so much trouble~" Her scientific mind began working, coming up with various sadistic and dark ideas.

The other woman laughed again and stood up. "Indeed. I'll go have a look at the turret production lines. After that mute lunatic messed it up with Mr. Moron, we'll have to do regular checkups on that place."

"Make sure to kill some defective turrets for me. I'm in a killing mood, and they're useless after all."

The long-haired GLaDOS grinned. It'll be her pleasure. She turned around and marched out of the room in proud strides.

The remaining AI looked through some files, then at the monitor in front of her. She casually took another sip of her dark coffee and looked at a red button. Her lips quirked up and she slowly pressed it.

She was rewarded by hearing a faint screech from a female test subject being crushed underneath a big spiky crusher plate. Obviously she had misplaced a portal down there or something..

GLaDOS turned on her mic and spoke in her usual professional yet sarcastic manner: "Thank you for participating in this enrichment center activity."

She turned the microphone off and pressed another button, cleaning out the bloody mess underneath the crusher. Then she tapped her chin thoughtfully and licked the last blood of her lips. Her eyes glanced towards the door while she mused darkly.

That cake sounded very delicious right now.
